CEO MONDAY: LIVE YOUR PASSION

The past couple of CEO MONDAY posts have focused on developing leadership skills through relationships with others (leading with love, leading with purpose etc.) Today, let's shift to the more internal piece of leading. Beyond what motivates you exists inherent passion. It may not necessarily align itself to your day job, the business you own or the career you are striving for.  This passion may be something you do once a year or (for lack of a better word) a hobby that you simply think is just a hobby.Yet, when you are active in this passion or "activity", you step into a level of authenticity that makes you who you are. If you don't  have a firm grasp of who you are, then how can you lead?

I've realized my passion is something that I lose sleep over, something irresistible that brings more than just smile to my face. For me, passion feels like a breath of fresh air, that automatically closes my eyes in complete happiness and single-handedly transports me into a world where time ceases to exist.
